McKim·Tuohey Studio (MTS) takes a genuine interest in our clients’ business and considers it our job to augment our clients’ position in their marketplace. MTS designs all types of marketing materials for business, ranging from print materials to websites. MTS is owned and operated by Merrily McKim Tuohey and Michael Tuohey. The graphic design studio was established in 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1997 website design and development were incorporated into the business in response to the expanding market. Merrily was the Art Director for Smith Advertising in Overland Park, Kansas for two years before starting McKim·Tuohey Studio. Her design style has been described as ‘organic’ and if asked, she would say her primary strength is the organization and effective presentation of information. Michael joined Merrily in 1995 to publish Inside Look, a real estate trade magazine. Michael’s enthusiasm for the marketing possibilities on the internet, combined with Merrily’s design and organizational skills, positioned McKim·Tuohey Studio as an innovative graphic design, website development and consulting company.
